Tour Qualifications

Holy Land / Bible Land Tours

Discover The Bible Lands! Tours are somewhat physically demanding and we travel on a designed schedule.  
 

Physical Requirements (applicable to all DTBL! Tours)

• Be in good general health
• Ability to climb up and down stairs daily without continual assistance
• Walk at a modest pace for at least 2 miles a day -
  some days more (2 miles is an average)
• Walk on uneven terrain (we visit archological sites,,,sometimes going up & down mounds and Tels). (Prepare for your tour)
• Able to handle own luggage (we help each other and use porters too.)
• Students who have the ability to study and are interested in the subject matter. Usually that age begins at grade 7-8 (lower age if the maturity level is evident).
  

We will use steps.There is walking on uneven terrain... nearly each day. (There is little to no access to any of our tour sites for those using a walker or wheelchair.)

June Tours in the Bible Lands: Warm… warmer… hot…and occasionally very hot!  We carry bottled water for drinking.  Hotels and busses are air-conditioned.

• It is always wise, even with good health, to carry “travel insurance” which included health coverage.
  NOTE: Pre-existing issues are usually covered by insurance carriers - if a policy is purchased days after receiving confirmation of registration. (Please check with travel insurance carriers for details.) MTS will send insurance info with registration confirmation - likewise, DTBL! will send insurance comparison links for your convenience.
  
  
• After Tour Registration: It is highly recommended one begins a daily walking routine to build endurance and the ability to walk at least two miles a day with ease.
   
• Each member should strive to be an excellent traveling companion.   We move as a group and for a time are like a family.  Please invite those who would enjoy your new tour family!  (Limit-35 members)
  
  
• Passports: Please check your passport! It should not expire before 6 months before the last day of tour. Please be sure you have signed the passport exactly as it is is written - middle name and all! Passport
